Fun Stuff to Do
Throughout
the weekend, Pacific Days provides both kids and adults all sorts of fun
activities like the ever popular kids’ games with, of course, the kids’
prize store where everything in the store is FREE.
There will also be
go carts, the
car bash for adults and
supervised kids, face painting, Home
Depot Kids Workshops, and
the big, free inflatable
slides just to name a few items.
Don’t forget the raffle items that include Mariners’ and other sports
paraphernalia, restaurant gift cards, kids’ bikes, and lots of other
surprises. Then there are the vendors who make the whole event worthwhile!
Kids Parade
Friday evening, kids are encouraged to bring their decorated bikes to the
staging area, the Pacific Algona Community Center parking lot, 100 B
- 3rd Ave SE, at
6:00 pm. All participants must wear helmets. Kids who do not own a helmet
can be fitted for and receive one, free of charge. The parade starts at 6:15
pm. Everyone bikes from the parking lot, down 3rd Ave to Pacific City Park.
There will be ice cream cones and Dairy Queen coupons for everyone. The
owner of the best decorated (original, creative, etc.) bike will receive an
ice cream cake from Dairy Queen as the grand prize.
